Welcome to the Ontario Music Camp Choir-Only application!

1. This form is for adult students (at least 16 years old by the first day of camp) who are
signing up for men’s, women’s and/or mass choir only.

2. If you wish to sign up for any classes and/or mixed choir, please use the Adult Camp
application and register as a part-time student (you can add evening choirs to a part-time
application if you wish). If you are 16-17 years old by the first day of camp and are
participating in the Youth Camp, but also wish to participate in an evening adult choir,
please complete the Children/Youth Camp application, then contact the registrar to have an
evening choir added to your Children/Youth Camp application (do not use this form).

3. Your application cannot be saved partway through and returned to later; it must be filled
out in one sitting. If you close or refresh the page, information you have entered will be lost.

4. If you wish to pay by credit card, non-refundable fees of approximately 5% will be added to
your amount owing. These fees are collected by the application platform and do not go to
the camp. To avoid these fees, you may choose to pay by Interac e-transfer or cheque
instead of credit card.

5. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your credit card account is a different currency,
exchange rates and fees are determined by your credit card provider. You may need to call
your bank or credit card company to authorize the transaction. If the transaction is
declined, call your bank prior to leaving the application page. You will lose any data you
entered if you leave the page.

6. Some applicants have had difficulty using certain web browsers and platforms with this
application. If you are having any trouble that appears to be a browser issue, consider
using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.). If you are completing this application on a
phone or other hand-held device and it is not working, consider switching to a computer
browser.

NOTE: Our software identifies people by their email addresses. Please use your own email address to register for camp.

Choirs are divided into four main groups (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass). Ladies with higher voices typically sing soprano, ladies with lower voices typically sing alto, men with higher voices typically sing tenor, and men with lower voices typically sing bass. Sometimes there will be a division within a main group, with some of the group singing a higher note (1) and some singing a lower note (2). So, for example, Alto 1 is generally higher than Alto 2, but lower than Soprano 2. The eight voice parts (two divisions of each of the four main parts) are listed below in order from highest to lowest.
